Run for Pet Owners by Pet Owners

Valley Pet Crematorium is based in the Teign Valley area of Devon, and is run by John Howell and Dan Clarke, who are both experienced in working with pets and pet-owners.

John Howell

John has 23 years experience with the Guide Dogs for the Blind. As an Instructor, he worked on developing partnerships and gained a full understanding of the relationship between a pet and its owner.

Living in Exeter, he shares his life with Jenny his wife, his 3 children, Benson the Black Labrador, Dusty the rabbit and Sammy the hamster.

Dan Clarke

Dan has 25 years experience with the Guide Dogs for the Blind, based in Exeter This enabled him to develop an appreciation of the bond between animal and owner and inspires him to give a quality service to pet owners in his current work.

He lives locally and is married to Julie, who also worked for the Guide Dogs for the Blind for 18 years. They have 2 children, 2 dogs, 3 cats 2 rabbits and usually some others on a temporary basis!
