Run for Pet Owners by Pet Owners

Valley Pet Crematorium is based in the Teign Valley area of Devon, and is run by John Howell and Dan Clarke, who are both experienced in working with pets and pet-owners.

John Howell

John has 23 years experience with the Guide Dogs for the Blind. As an Instructor, he worked on developing partnerships and gained a full understanding of the relationship between a pet and its owner.Living in Exeter, he shares his life with Jenny his wife, his 3 children, Nala the Labrador, and Twiglet a standard wirehaired Dacshy whose job it is to meet and greet all visitors to Valley Pet Crematorium.

Dan Clarke

Dan has 25 years experience with the Guide Dogs for the Blind, based in Exeter, Middlesborough, Wokingham and Cardiff. This experience has developed an appreciation of the bond between animal and owner and inspires him to give a quality service to pet owners in his current work.He lives locally and is married to Julie, who also worked for the Guide Dogs for the Blind for 18 years and now works with Hearing Dogs for Deaf people. They have 2 children, 2 dogs, 3 cats and usually some others on a temporary basis!
